Hi there we are Louis and Trix. With over 350 five star reviews on Airbnb we have received Superhosts status which classifies us as highly rated hosts who are committed to providing great stays for all of our guests.

We are situated just 900m from the Garden Route main road (N2) which enables smooth and easy access, with only a 2 minute walk from our accommodation to the main road in town to find your local shops, supermarkets and places to eat.

We are also only a 700m walk from Lookout beach!

    A true gem! I can’t say enough good things about Whales Rest and the hosts. The hosts are extremely helpful, kind people who have created a little paradise in Plett. They are really willing to go above and beyond to make your stay as comfortable and fun as possible. Whales Rest was spacious, beautiful, modern and very clean. The property allows guests access to a gorgeous patio area with a pool, sun loungers, shady areas and green spaces.

    Louis & Trix were the most welcoming, warm & hospitable hosts. From lending us beach toys for our little boys to giving us expert tips on where locals hand, eat & swim, to providing the most immaculate, comfortable & luxurious accommodation for an absolute steal. I simply can’t recommend this space enough! The Jones’s are central, just a quick walk up from the main road and one wakes up to the sounds of the sea and spectacular view of the close by mountains. We can’t wait to return.

    What an amazing experience. Lovely place! Super welcoming hosts! We had a wonderful time. The cottage was beyond clean with very beautiful finishes. We were provided with amazing local tips on where to go and what to do. I can only recommend this place.
